Inspiration. Genius. Brilliance. Vision. Art. These are all the same. These are the words we attribute to a representation of a great idea. Creativity? Well that’s a little trickier. We think creativity is the process by which an idea becomes a representation.  Creativity is taking that good idea and making it accessible. Creativity is translation. In our case, creativity is taking that idea of yours and representing it visually.  Not photographically, but visually. Yes, our base is photographic in nature, but we’re evolving. We’ve created this team to help that evolution process. And we’ve created this team in acknowledgment that the world is changing. We live in a world of collaboration, a world of community building, of social networking, and of remixing. We’re embracing this mentality in the very fundamentals of our creation. And we extend it out to the very tips of our implementation. It is our business model. Because ‘that good idea’ deserves to be elaborated upon. It is on an evolutionary path of collaboration and change. And we are here to help it along. To make it art.

We call ourselves image makers not as some artsy attempt to separate ourselves from the leagues of photographers and teams out there (although we are artsy), we call ourselves image makers not because we aren’t photographers (although we are more than that), we call ourselves image makers not because we are better than them (although…), we call ourselves image makers because we are in the business of making an image, not a photograph.  Neither of us are interested in documentation. Our images are made, forged, designed, constructed, built and created, not simply taken. And our images extend beyond the realms of photography.
