New year, new…..everything? Pretty much.
3rd January 2012 by g.na
Launching 2012 with all its promises for improvement and change has a little bit more significance to me this year than it has in years past. While most of my previous new years resolutions involved lofty idea of imposing change on fairly non-flexible preexisting structures (“I will go to the gym 4 times a week, in between working for 50hrs, trying to sleep, cooking food, and not letting my social life disappear”), I have done a pretty radical shift this year, and eliminated the non-flexible structures, ie my day job. And honestly its a great relief. I have been meaning to do this for years. And while terrifying sometimes there is no other way for it – you just have to jump (something I decided to get tattooed on myself in order to try and live up to said life motto).

Come on out to our first ever art show! two shoots will be on display (and for sale!). the framing is gonna be quite interesting, and the art in said frames will be more than a little interesting. completely free from any explicit material, the content of the show is much more about the suggestion, the visual insinuation.
Opening reception/Party – Jan 16th 7-9pm, The Pilot Tavern, 22 Cumberland st

Max would affectionately calls me a ‘ludite’, which makes me feel as though I have stumbled into some nonconsensual dungeons and dragon-esque situation. I had to look up the term to be honest. According to the urban dictionary (the ultimate non-disputable truth site)
1. ludite: A person who is averse to adapting to technology.
IE: He is a ludite because he does not want to use myspace as a means of communication, in order to manage his relationships–business, or otherwise. Read more…
